The Challenge

In preparation for deployment of a hosted ERP solution across their company, our customer needed to ensure they had secure and reliable data connectivity between their 8 sites.

They also wanted to ensure that post deployment they could retire ageing infrastructure and improve the reliability of other key business applications like email, file storage and network authentication.

Our Solution

We designed and implemented a Telstra ConnectIP private data network connecting all sites. This solution also incorporated wireless failover at key sites where local network challenges could impact reliability.

We migrated voice services to SIP Connect on the ConnectIP network, reducing costs and providing price certainty for voice communications.

The final stage was consolidation of three servers into Telstra Utility Hosting, providing scalable server infrastructure within their ConnectIP network, and the migration of their three Exchange servers into a single Office365 deployment.

The Outcome

Our customer has deployed their ERP solution and the ConnectIP network provides 24x7x365 connectivity between their sites, proactively monitored and supported by Telstra.

They have retired their ageing server infrastructure and eliminated need for capital to be spent on server infrastructure in the future. They have reduced their spend on voice communications by 40%.

We continue to monitor and support all ICT assets in conjunction with Telstra to maximise the reliability and uptime of their network. We have reduced the number of unplanned outages across their network by 50%.
